Beach Bunny Ice Cream in Topsail Island

Cute little ice cream shop! Has some arcade games and a big projector movie screen. A little snug on the inside but eating outside on the picnic tables was nice with the coastal breeze. Service was fast and polite!

Employees handling and serving food while wearing gloves but no masks, with no signage/guidance on social distancing inside. I understand this is only “strongly recommended” guidance from state at this date, and not mandated, but I would’ve eaten elsewhere had I known before I arrived. Service and selection was fine.

Delicious ice cream, and very helpful and friendly staff. They also have a nice seating area where they play Disney movies! Definitely recommend for a date night or to just enjoy time with your family.

Great family atmosphere, air conditioning, movie screen for children's movies, with couches and tables and chairs, small Hodge Podge of arcade games. Deducted a star because the evening we went they we're out of soft serve ice cream, in addition to selling out of popular flavors of hard ice cream. Very small parking area b/c of location (we walked from public parking lot down the road). They are located on the main entrance on to the island so traffic is very heavy here during peak vacationing times. This will inevitably change however once construction of the new bridge is completed and traffic is rerouted.

This is a fun ice cream shop for kids - toys, a movie screen, and of course, ice cream! The ice cream is good too! (Maybe not GREAT, but definitely good!)

Best place I've ever been to.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very popular spot and it was quit busy 2 times we went. The staff are very good about serving customers and keeping the line moving. They always have a children's movie playing on the projector screen and the claw game is super fun. Only a dollar with a winner Everytime. We lived the flavor selection, about 20 to 25, and the price was fair.

Got a banana split and split it with my wife. More than enough for two people! It was great. This place is great. Just a really fun (and yes, loud) place to go get some ice cream.

A super nice place to take the kids. They have a movie projected on the wall for the kids. The ice cream is amazing. Tons ofs options for cones and ice cream. Arcade games for everyone. Good clean location. Service was great also.

Great place to brings kids. A movie is always playing and there are arcade games in the back. They have delicious flavors (Blueberry Cheesecake is AMAZING!). Specialty cones, smoothies, shakes, sundaes...everything! Staff is friendly and they do a good job when it gets busy.

Went in for a lemonade. Left with nothing.. Apparently they don't sell things on their own menu.

Lots of space to sit, good selection of ice cream and Italian ice. Ice cream is very good! Movie playing for kids, colorful seats and tables and stools. A few arcade games as well.

This place was awesome. The young women helping us were pleasant. Tons of ice cream selections and toppings.

Great ice cream and great employees. Unfortunately we found out the owner takes (steals) all the tips that are given. Since the employees are on camera they’re not even allowed to keep the tips of you give it straight to them. I can’t believe this is even legal and will never go here again as a result. Predatory employers like this should be put out of business! Hopefully one day someone who respects their employees will take over.

The lady was rude and the place is overpriced

Terrible service, ice cream cases were so dirty you couldn’t see the ice cream, and employees were clueless. So sad because as a kid this was the best ice cream place on the island and is really going downhill fast.

Friendly service with a large variety of flavors and options such as milk shakes and cones. They also have a variety of saltwater taffy that they sell by the piece or pound. Each time we went in, they were showing a movie for kids and our young daughter really loved that part of the experience.

They were slammed but got us through the line quickly. The waffle cone was good, the as was the ice cream, and the price was not ridiculous. My kids liked the giant movie and the chalk board.

They serve Blue Bunny brand ice cream so if you already know what you like from Blue Bunny service is a little quicker and they have a very large selection. Lines get long in the evening. There's a small arcade and movies playing to watch while you wait and you...will...wait.Small parking lot in the back and side of the building can be a little precautions. Overall this is somewhere I feel like everyone goes at least once while visiting.

Such a fun place! Blue Bunny ice cream with a constant stream of movies and old school video games. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town.

Good ice cream but my bowl was handed to me with hot fudge dripping down the sides so it was a quite messy. Still yummy but maybe a deeper bowl would have helped.

Fast service, delicious ice cream!

Many flavors of ice cream to try. Very good. Also, sitting down to watch a movie on the screen as you eat was awesome. They had a wide range of seating inside, and some outside too. If I had more energy, I would’ve loved to play some pool (it was free! You don’t even have to put in a dollar!). Nice small section of arcade games to play for those kids who didn’t zone out watching Monsters Inc at the time.

It's a very flimsy one - star. This isnt Star Search and Ed McMahon ain't handing out one quarter - stars anymore. Speaking of handing things out , I'll never hand this establishment another nickel of my money and neither should you. The TIP jar by the register is NOT for the employees behind the counter taking and making orders. All of those TIPS go straight to the owners. Thats right , when the same employee takes your order, makes it , rings it up and completes the transaction, that 2 or 3 dollars ( maybe more ) you toss in the TIP jar that employee doesn't see a dime of it other than when he or she has to cringe through a thank you as you drop it in there. The fourth - hand arcade games and bootleg Pixar movies playing were hardly enough to make up for blatantly STEALING from your employees. You should be ashamed.

Great treats for the family. The single scoop was like half a pint, huge and under 4 bucks. I had the monster ice cream sandwich, with 2 flavors of cheese cake ice cream sandwiched between 2 giant cookies. It was huge and about 7 bucks. They also had a few flavors of cheesecake, coffee, and some other items. We got there at like 630 pm and there wasn’t much of a line , but then like 3 families of 6 to ten people each came in and there was a steady line of 10 or more people for the rest of the time we were there. There’s plenty of parking in the front, side and rear. There are some free activities and some coin operated arcade games. There is also a huge movie screen.

My children (grown) and grandchildren always want to go get ice cream at the 'rabbit' store. It's always busy and get in line and wait for that delicious cone or cup of your favorite ice cream. Plus, the best part is they have a huge screen showing your favorite children's movies. So grab a 50's table and chair or hit the long bench in front of the tv screen. Also tables/chairs outside.

The staff here were great and my family and I really enjoyed the ice cream and movie. We appreciate being able to go here and look forward to going again. Thank you for a great experience.

Best ice cream place on the island

Icecream was amazing and staff was friendly. Place is dog friendly so we were able to bring the pup which was nice! Definitely recommend this place and worth dropping in

Always a good time... the ice cream is not homemade. It's just blue bunny but it makes for a good stop anyway.

Excellent place freindly staff fast service good job guys

The line was almost out the door and it was about a 15 min wait till we got to order. Have someone to save your spot in line so you can take a look at the flavors. The kids working behind the counter were pleasant and hardworking. Everyone loved what they had but other customers gave us a kind warning that the Rocky Road had a ton of marshmallows making it too sweet; to each there own you mellow lovers! They run kid movies on a big screen to help keep kids occupied along with a few games; the best are the comfortable chairs outside! They have gelato, shakes, malts,banana splits, smoothies and giant ice cream sandwiches.

Interesting place with ice cream, old school arcade games, and they're always playing a video. Truthfully, my I've cream had ice chips in it... It's grocery store ice cream.Cool idea though. Go for the atmosphere.

Good ice cream and taffy

Awesome ice cream store in Surf City. A little confusing that there are two locations within a short distance and have different varieties of ice cream. If you want ice cream make sure you go to the one by Arby's

The line was out the door but the staff moved quickly and the ice cream was delicious. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for some good ice cream!

Great place

They need to work on their customer service skills. Waited over 20 minutes while a few customers did taste test of almost every flavor. Employee focused on counting tips rather than taking care of customers. When finally asked for my order was told ice cream too frozen to scoop. Lost my business.

No mask needed during pandemic🤦

Place was great, and employees were terrific. But when I was in the other day, I was told that the the tips go to the owner who is not even there. If you want the person making your ice cream to get a tip, you'll have to hand it straight over to them. The tips that are left in the tip jar, and that are left with your card will only go to the owner and not the employees. In other words....if you do go, hand the tip over to the employees so they aren't screwed over by the owner of the shop.

Glad to see that a local company (A&K All the way) was able to save this historic building and the beach bunny ice cream fun place and ice cream
